Sydney and I started our Passion Project of bringing action to RAINN, which stands for Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network. We were planning on bringing attention to it and do multiple things such as holding a self defense class to help people, women especially feel more confident and would know some self defense moves if they were in a bad situation. Not far into the project Sydney and I decided we should do something else, we had noticed the school could use some uplifting and encouraging things. We choose to do Acts of Random Kindness. We've been mainly putting encouraging notes in people's lockers. We're not exactly behind schedule but we are a little stuck on what else to do.
From here we will continue putting notes in lockers and really brainstorm on what else we can do. Right now we're stuck on what to do so this Friday we will come up with more ideas and carry them out in the next few weeks. We aren't planning on changing our project, we just would like to do other acts of random kindness.
I've learned that just the littlest action can impact someone quite a lot. I'll be around some of the people who we've put notes in their lockers and when they first see and read it they feel special and seem quite happy. I've also received some of the notes because we put "pass it on" on the notes. After seeing this I'm going to try more to do random acts of kindness, I love making people happy and to feel special.
